What to look for in the best golf bluetooth speakers?

Portability

The greatest advantage of these speakers is that you can use them anywhere. So, their portability allows you to bring the music with you as you for any outdoor activity including golf, biking, hiking, SUP or kayaking, or even just hanging out at the pool or beach. Connect to a music player, tablet, or smartphone, and you’re good to go.

Make it fun

We have found that a little music on the course is a great way to make it more fun for juniors. They can make their own "golf playlists" and take turns to play their favorite tunes. Perhaps they might even allow mom or dad to play their "oldies" music!

Golf course music etiquette

While we are fans of music on the course, keep in mind that not everyone has the same view. These are some do's and don'ts for music on the golf course that kids need to be aware of:

  • If playing in a group always make sure that the other players are ok with music during the round. Even better, ask them what type of music they like and put on an appropriate playlist. While our kids like hip-hop they know when they are playing with us that a mixed rock/country/hip-hop playlist is a better choice.
  • Do not blast music at max volume. Golfers on the adjacent fairway or next green do not want to hear your music in the background.
  • Do not let music become a distraction. Make sure you are still focused on the game and ready to play when it is your turn. Leave the speaker in the cart (if you are riding) instead of taking it to the putting green.
  • When driving up on another group (e.g. if they are on the next tee when you arrive), silence the music - or at least put it very low - and stay back 20 to 30 feet.
  • Not all courses are appreciative of music and to be honest, we would not want music on some courses. For example, if you are playing Pebble Beach you will want to soak up the surroundings, including hearing the Pacific Ocean, people on the beach, your caddie's advice etc.

In general be aware and respectful of others on the course and teach kids to do the same.
